Warrington v Clitheroe

Despite the overwhelming score line, all the credit in this match goes to the Clitheroe players, coaches and parents. Making the long journey down to Cheshire with an under strength squad took courage and commitment and this was translated on to the field. The Clitheroe players never let their heads drop and fought all the way to the final whistle.

From Warrington's point of view, much stiffer competition awaits and despite scoring freely, they will need to continue to commit themselves on the training field if they are to truly show their undoubted talents.
