| The club provides opportunities
for young people between the ages of 6 to 16 to receive
coaching and competition in rugby union. All coaching
is by qualified coaches who are trained and have been
screened for their suitability for working with young
people.
We welcome parents to all training and competitions
and value your support. We are keen to try and involve
parents in the club and would like to discuss how you
could assist both your child and the club.
Below is some information about training times and
dates, and details regarding travel arrangements, kit
and club registration.
Training sessions take place on Sunday mornings at
10.30 until 12.00 from September to April at Warrington
RUFC, Warrington Sports Club. There is also a full fixture
list for the season.
Arrangements should be made for your child to travel
to and from training sessions and matches. We do appreciate
it if children can arrive and are collected promptly.
If you are going to be late picking your child up, please
contact your coach as soon as possible.
Club kit is available to be purchased and must be worn
for all matches, but does not need to be worn for training.
For 2007/8 the club has a membership fee of £60.00
and this should be paid by the end of September.
We would be grateful if you complete the junior club
membership form and RFU registration document. For the
safety of your child it is important that the club is
informed of any medical condition or allergies that
may be relevant should your child fall ill or be involved
in an accident while at the club.
WRUFC places child welfare at the very top
of our agenda and please can you and your child familiarise
yourselves with the clubs Codes of Conduct and Safety
Procedures detailed under the Polices and Codes section
of the website.
We thank you for your co-operation and look forward
to a happy, safe and successful season.
Yours in rugby
Dave Nicholls
