In the Final
Bridgewater High girls' tag team were narrowly beaten
in the closely-fought final of the Cheshire Year 8 Girls
Tag Festival, which took place at Warrington Sports
Club on the 20th April. Although they started off well,
they were eventually beaten by Wilmslow High School,
who were outstanding in all rounds.
The Tag Festival is an annual event, organised by our
community coach, Peter Allen. This year it attracted
entries from five teams throughout Cheshire and included
Queen's Park and Bishop Bluecoats from Chester, and
Culcheth High School as well as the two finalists. Teams
play each other in a round robin competition before
the top four contest the semi-finals.

the pace of the Festival's eventual winners, Wilmslow
