Generous sponsorship from Carrier Transicold UK, supported by tireless fundraising from parents and friends, is helping Warrington RUFC to take teams at Under 8, Under 11 and Under 13 level to play in two rugby tournaments in Paris in April. This is the first time that the Walton Lea Rd club has undertaken an overseas rugby tour with its mini section and the total party will number some 94 people, including parents, coaches and players.

Carrier Transicold, which has its Northwest base at Centre Park in Warrington, is firmly committed, as a world-wide organisation, to establishing open and considerate relationships in the communities in which it works. This has been especially the case in Warrington, where, in addition to providing valuable sponsorship for the French Tour, Transicold has also helped to provide essential playing kit and training equipment to the mini and junior sections at Warrington RUFC. This has proved invaluable over the past twelve months, as there are now upwards of 200 boys and girls in the junior sections at Warrington, in teams ranging from Under 7s to Under 15s.
