| Tyldesley 2nd's - 23 Warrington 2nd's - 12
Warrington 2nd team came back down to earth with a bump after last weeks defeat of table topping Wigan. Warrington were victims of some late cry offs which led to playing the promising James Farrell in the unfamiliar position of centre. Farrell ran and tackled all day and also skippered the side for the first time.
Warrington's tries came from Ross Leah, who worked hard all day, and from Turner who controlled a push over try. Warrington were always in contention of winning the game, however too many missed tackles and some poor handling led to Tyldesley winning this game.
The front row of Tickle, Park and Graham again made the oppositions pack work hard. Griffiths was again the main go forward player for Warrington, he made yards everytime he touched the ball. Griffiths kicking from hand and for goal was also excellent.
Tierney and Hughes provided plenty of clean ball from line outs. Hartill again bossed the pack and tackled and ran all day.
Warrington 2nd team must win some games away from home if they are to stay in the competative league.
