U16s Warrington 12 - Tyldsley 25

With a win from their first outing of the season Warrington were hoping to make it two in a row. The first 15 minutes of the game were evenly matched and fairly flat with no sign of spark from either team.

Tyldsley started to look the stronger side and took a first half lead with a try and two unnecessary penalties. With a constant drizzle the ball became difficult to handle and there were several handling errors from both sides. Warrington came back with a try from James Arnold and were also given a penalty try which Joe Guest kindly converted. Tyldsley were the stronger of  the two teams and post certainly the team that was "up for it", placing another two over the Warrington line.

That said the opposing tries in the second half were from quick if not lucky breaks, but they win games. The Warrington defence as in last weeks match looked well organised and solid, they just need to up the ante in this seasons higher league.
