Warrington’s second string was totally outclassed by strong Sandbach outfit which is already being tipped for promotion. However, a side cruelly weakened by pre-match injury problems, stuck to their task right to the final whistle, with outstanding performances from human dynamo Chris Whitehead, Pete Cosgrove on the wing and the ever-consistent veteran, Andy Walker.
